Our priorities are demonstrated by where we invest our time and resources, whether through thoughts, words or actions. My goal is to encourage you to deepen your relationship with Christ by increasing time spent in His presence. Relationships require effort and attention, and the Lord is no exception. He deserves our love and worship. He should be the Person we seek, admire, praise and desire to be with the most.
Answering His Call

I never wanted to be a writer, but I’ve been called to be one, nonetheless. These are the works that God has put on my heart during my journey, and I have tried to be obedient in creating them. Readers have shared with me that various chapters spoke to them, and each person’s life was touched in a different way…a ministry that goes beyond my limited capabilities and flows directly from the Lord.
I guess you never know what path your life will take when you tell God that His will is more important than your own plans. It is truly an adventure, and I consider myself blessed to have been given “eyes to see and ears to hear!”
So, You Say
You’re a Christian…
God is here, but are we truly with Him…choosing Him over all else? Or are we too busy worshipping the world’s offerings while turning our backs on Jesus, the only Way to salvation?
If we are Christ’s hope and light in the world, where is our self-control, forgiveness, truth, patience, peace, advocacy, love, mercy, compassion, gentleness and disgust for sin? He, Himself, told us how narrow the way is to salvation. Time after time in the Word, He tells followers to “…sin no more.”
Why are we not taking Him seriously?

My life turned out to be very different than I anticipated, but God has been with me through every step! Things I consider blessings include family, friends and fellowship, the smell of
rain – and standing in it, hugs, dogs&cats&horses (oh, my!), a hard day’s work, laughing until I’m out of breath with my face hurting, home-cooked meals, stories told around crackling fires, smiles, being outdoors (especially on the water), and most of all, knowing that
God sacrificed the Person
He loved most for me.
That’s the truest love.

We are going through a tremendously devastating transition to AI (whether we like it or not) that is putting people out of work and nullifying their ability to support themselves, their families and our society as a whole. I ask that you please consider supporting businesses that primarily use people power over technology and avoid the mega corporations (here in the US and internationally) trying to leave behind the paychecks and benefits that humans require.

Unfortunately, a couple of my friends signed up for online self-publishing services through big companies and received disappointing results, had difficulty getting anyone to call them back, had lackluster proofing of content and formatting and also were unable to get problems fixed due to the inability of being able to effectively communicate with their representatives. No personal touch. No refunds. No accountability.
So, please consider backing local and national human efforts versus investing in a digital system that doesn’t benefit anyone except the people who own it. Thank you!
